Between us lie cities… distant lands,
Years and nights wrapped in silent hands.
There are roads from your eyes to mine,
Yet none of them will ever align.
Your gaze has never turned my way,
Your words have never found where I stay.
No bridge from your heart to mine was made,
Love in my soul in silence stayed.
The distance is far… but your gaze is farther still,
Like moonlight I can never touch, no matter my will.
And I remain, a quiet, hidden spring,
In a love you’ll never know, yet still I bring.
